Probably the most popular seaweed, so delicious as a snack or toasted and crumbled into so many many dishes. Perfect in salad, with vegetables, in soups and broths, mixed into pasta, meat dishes, in a sandwich or to season fish.
Dillisk is high in fibre, iron and protein (containing all essential amino acids). It also contains iodine, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, manganese, vitamin A, C, D and B vitamins.
All seaweeds are prebiotic, meaning they are colonised and fermented by beneficial gut bacteria, thanks to their high fibre and specific polysaccharides.
